Getting started

From a fresh install to your first cue in a few minutes.

CueStack runs entirely on your iPad. No account, no network. A fresh install opens on an empty Projects list.

1. Create a project

A project is one show. On first launch you'll see a "No projects yet" screen. Tap to create your first project and give it a name.

2. Import a track

Open the tracks drawer and tap Import. Pick audio from Files, iCloud Drive, a cloud provider, or a connected USB drive. You can select several files at once, or drag files in. CueStack copies each file into the app, so a song stays put even if the original is later moved or deleted.

3. Add a cue

Play the track, or scrub to the spot you want. In the Cue Points list (right side), tap to add a cue at the current playhead. Choose its type and, if you like, add a short note.

Tapping the waveform scrubs the playhead — it doesn't drop a cue. Cues are added from the in the Cue Points list, always at the playhead.

4. Play it back

Tap a cue to jump there and play to the end; tap it again to restart from the same spot. Turn on Loop to keep running a section without re-arming.

CueStack reopens your last project and track the next time you launch, so you pick up where you left off.
